Its always so amazing when babies smile for the first time. Really, there you are in the crazy wee hours of the night trying to calm a crying baby and praying that you can make it to the next day, just when you think your going to loose your mind that one moment happens when you look over at your baby and he is smiling at you. It totally brightens your day. Unfortunately, I dont recall the exact day it happened. It was around the second week of October, so he was just a whole month old. For sure, when i was over at my parents house we were so in awe of his laughter and cooing. The way he just loved loooking at my brother really just melted my heart.
